// Agriculture / Diesel Field Service Technician

Job Information

We are seeking a skilled Agriculture/Diesel Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong Agriculture and Diesel mechanical background and hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role involves working on a variety of heavy equipment, including agricultural machinery, turf equipment, and light industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
• Repair or replace defective components (e.g., pumps, valves, filters) using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and to high-quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with equipment setup between repair jobs as needed.
• Work with Service Manager to prioritize key accounts.
• Work with In house service technicians to perform diagnostic tests.
• Any other duties required for a road service technician.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Agriculture /Diesel Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on diagnostic and repair experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must have own tools and a clean driving record.
• Specialty tools provided by employer.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule Monday–Friday, weekends and holidays as needed
• Location: Addison County VT- Work From Home
• Travel required
