Features

HOPPER BOX DESIGN

Individual metering wheels and mixing chambers provide equalized and consistent flow to each row, even on hills and slopes. They also allow the ability to plant different types of seeds by changing out the metering wheels. The angled hopper walls provide an even flow of seed to the metering door, ensuring a constant supply of seed.

COLOR-CODED METER WHEELS

BLACK – Small seeds, such as annual rye, tillage radish, and alfalfa. RED – Small to medium seeds, such as cereal rye, wheat, and oats. WHITE* – Soybeans and field peas. YELLOW* – High-volume fertilizer. *Additional options available from Gandy Company.

DIFFUSER PLATE

Distributes the seed laterally and downward in even, 30" bands.

EASY-FILL HOPPER

A slide-away cover simplifies and speeds up filling. The high-capacity hopper is ideal for even large-acreage operations. Kit includes a ladder and walkboard for easy access to the hopper.

ELECTRIC SOLENOIDS

Provide section control on each half of the machine to avoid wasting seed on double-seeding.

HOSE KIT

The Turbo-Seeder has 12 or 16 diffusers and 1-1/4" diameter hose for unrestricted air and seed flow.

HYDRAULICALLY-DRIVEN FAN

Achieves even seed distribution across the entire machine by delivering seed to individual diffuser plates that disperse seed laterally and downward in even bands.

LADDER AND WALKBOARD

For easy access to the seed hopper without climbing over the machine.

TURBO-SEEDER CONTROLLER

The TS controller is an electrically-operated, in-cab unit that provides control of the left and right meter shafts individually, as well as a master switch to turn off both metering units. It also monitors air pressure and metering shaft rotations.

ZERO-MAX® METER DRIVE

12-volt, 25-amp meter offers infinite rate adjustments. This motor controls the speed of the metering wheels, which, in combination with the ground speed, determines the application rate.
