Job Summary

The Parts Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of parts for the Fultonville NY Location. You will be responsible for managing the parts department efficiently to support our operations and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. As the Parts Manager you will Monitor employee’s daily activity and delegate or assign work as appropriate.

Other duties include:

  • Cultivate a positive work environment to exceed 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Work with our represented brands to strategically order parts and supplies, ensure that customers' seasonal parts’ needs are met.
  • Manage warehouse operations including organizing, stocking, and distributing parts.
  • Challenge and develop employees’ performance, provide feedback, and hold direct reports accountable for their goals and job responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the Service and Sales Department to provide full-service support for our customers.
  • Assist with candidate selection and interview process for new hires.
  • Make recommendations to Corporate Parts Manager regarding efforts to control inventory levels, reduce employee turnover and improve overall efficiency.
  • Utilize forklifts and other equipment for efficient warehouse management.

Experience

  • Strong customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Experience in parts management or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory control, data entry and strong computer skills.
  • Familiarity with agricultural, turf, and/or industrial equipment systems or related components is a plus.
